MEDITATION AND RETREATS
Weekly Meditation Practice
Time: 9 am to 10:30 am on Sunday every week
This weekly meditation practice is geared for people who want to deepen their Vipassana meditative experience in theory, practice, and result. Activities include meditation teachings, practice, group discussions, sharing of experiences, and individual guidance.
Quarterly All-Day Meditation Retreat
Time: 9 am to 5 pm on 1st Sunday of March, June, September, December
In this all-day Meditation Retreat, involves alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation, the teacher provides guidance to help participants move deeper into meditation practice, and personal support based on individual circumstances and techniques to consciously integrate the student’s practice into their everyday life.
Time: 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday and Monday each week.
A Work Retreat provides an opportunity to use work as practice. During this retreat, you will develop and apply mindfulness to help enhance the natural beauty of the Meditation Center and its stunning beautiful lake view, surrounded by its magnificent tree landscape. Time: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday each week.
A self retreat is an opportunity for personal practice. The meditation hall is open for you to come and meditate from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday and Monday, and between scheduled courses. Please call 919-349-6892 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to signup. The meditation hall, however, is not open for self-meditation on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturdays
Sessions are 30 – 60 minutes, and are offered in-person or over the phone.
